After earning a BA in English from the University of Toronto Ginny spent many years in the magazine publishing and advertising field, working at both Toronto Life and Cottage Life magazines before switching gears to become an Investment Advisor in 1997. As a rookie broker at BMO Nesbitt Burns Ginny cut her teeth learning how to evaluate and trade stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, listening to clients, and honing her skills as a wealth advisor.
In 2009 Ginny attained the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, and in 2016 she achieved the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation which allowed her to be licenced as a discretionary portfolio manager.
In 2017 Ginny moved her practice to Raymond James Independent Financial Services in Burlington.
