Diana Bishop spent twenty years as a national and international TV news correspondent for CBC, CTV, Global Television, and NBC News telling stories of some of the biggest newsmakers of the day. Since 2003, Diana has been running a unique communications and personal branding business called The Success Story Program™ working with individuals from executives, entrepreneurs to politicians, heart surgeons and ballet dances to tell their stories, grow their brands and become the leaders and trailblazers in their field or industry.
Now after all the years of telling other people’s stories Diana has written her own, a deeply personal memoir called Living Up To A Legend, My Adventures With Billy Bishop’s Ghost — which explores the profound impact that her famous grandfather, World War One flying ace, one of Canada’s greatest war heroes has had on her life.
On this year, the 100th anniversary of her grandfather receiving the Victoria Cross, once the highest honour bestowed for bravery, Diana reflects on the culture of heroism and the role it plays in all of our lives.
