The inner critic voice is often a harsh voice, dangling the fear of failure or embarrassment in front of our ambition. She stifles our initiative and, holds us hostage to the status quo. In the interviews for the Good Enough book and, in the hundreds of coaching conversations with women, I’ve learned the inner critic voice be a significant obstacle in fulfilling our potential. With awareness and practice, we can learn to tame our inner cautionary voice and take the actions to create the life and career we desire.
In this session, participants will:
- Learn to recognize their unique inner critic voice
- Identify the impact of the inner critic on their thinking, emotions and relationships
- Identify experiences and triggers that provoke their inner critic voice
- Tune into and recognize their wiser, authentic voice self
- Learn strategies to release the critic’s grip and move into action
